Keeping Safe this Holiday Season

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

As we approach this holiday season, there is a buzz in the air as the busyness of events and work increase for a lot of people. Here are a few safety tips as we head into the holidays.

  • Keep yourself healthy- staying hydrated, washing your hands and staying warm are all important for your health.

  • Avoid slips, trips, and falls- with changing weather such as rain, ice and snow, slowing down is critical. Holding on to handrails and watching for slippery conditions can also help avoid this.

  • Drive for the conditions- as the weather changes, so should our driving. It takes 2 times as long to stop in the rain, and 3-4 times in the ice and snow! Slow down, have your headlights and taillights on.
